Meal Plan Monday



Several meals are carry-overs since we had people bring food several times this past week.

Monday:  Great Northern Beans, Ham, Cornbread, Brussel Sprouts

Tuesday:  Grilled Chicken Salad

Wednesday:  Chicken Fajitas with Chips and Salsa

Thursday:  Chicken Fried Rice with spring rolls

Friday:  Mustard Artichoke Chicken with brown Rice and broccoli; recipe can be found on flylady:  http://www.flylady.net/pages/FFT_SlowCookPoultry.asp

Saturday:  Taco's and corn

Sunday:  Mini Cheddar Meat loaves with carrots and Green Beans, recipe from Walmart's "Homemade" magazine

Tuesday's Thought

I'm studying the Bible study One in a Million by Priscilla Shirer which is based on the Israelites' journey through the wilderness in Exodus.  This is from the third lesson "Your difficult circumstance is God's opportunity to work a miracle in your life.  You trusted Him with your deliverance, now trust Him to get you to your destination."

Menu Plan Monday

I'm finally buckling down and menu planning. Hopefully participating in the menu plan Monday will be the fun I need to keep it going. Here's my first Menu Plan Monday.

Monday: Hamburger helper and whatever veggie I have on hand

Tuesday: Crock of white beans, ham and corn bread

Wednesday: Texas one dish (from Saving Dinner cookbook), Baked sweet potatoes and spinach salad

Thursday: Pork Chops, brussel sprouts, fresh veggies

Friday: Grilled cheese, soup and lima beans

Saturday: Fried Chicken fingers, tomatoes, mashed potatoes, corn

Sunday: Really Easy Mixed Bean Chilli (from Saving Dinner cookbook), big green salad and corn muffins
